Since Towkay Leong Fee founded this Hakka Miners’ club in 1893 it has always been a place of mystery as entry was barred to everyone except club members and their VIP guests. However the club building now houses a private exhibition, but nonetheless entry remains something special and is by appointment only.

5. Kellie's Castle

A bridge across the Kinta River was built for visitors to easily get to Kellie Castle. A restaurant and souvenir shop and parking lot were built by Kinta Barat District Council in 1990. Kellie Castle is often a filming location for dramas and movies. Among them is the movie Anna And The King played by Chow Yuen Fatt.

8. Zoo Taiping & Night Safari
